Senior Product Quality Manager

Oura Oura · Consumer · San Francisco, CA +1 · Supply Chain

Oura is seeking a Senior Product Quality Manager to join their Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of Oura's wearable products, from concept through mass production. The manager will work with design, R&D, and supply chain teams to develop and implement quality systems, analyze failure data, and ensure products meet rigorous standards for health accuracy and craftsmanship. The role requires a strong background in manufacturing processes, DFM, and quality engineering in high-volume consumer products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through FATP development builds, ramp-up, mass production, and steady state expansion efforts
  2. Serve as the bridge between Design, Engineering, and Operations, translating complex technical risks into actionable business decisions to drive Oura’s quality initiatives
  3. Analyze build failure data to identify design and process marginalities, ensuring that yield loss is understood from a quality risk perspective, not just a volume perspective
  4. Lead build readiness reviews, focusing on quality deliverables such as equipment readiness, process qualification, and post-build quality data analysis to understand system level interactions and assembly tolerance stackups that drive design and process improvements
  5. Establish and enforce the standard for “premium” quality by defining cosmetic specifications, managing golden/limit samples, and aligning design, engineering, and factory teams on subjective criteria (fit, finish, and feel) early in the NPI process.
