Senior Product Solutions Associate-payments

This role focuses on defining and configuring complex product solutions for payment services, working with clients and internal teams to drive product strategy, development, and commercialization. It involves supporting sales cycles, creating proposals, and leveraging client feedback to improve products. While AI/ML is mentioned as a preferred knowledge area, it is not the core craft of the role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports the strategic definition and configuration of optimal solutions that address clients’ needs and objectives through collaboration with our clients and other internal teams such as Sales and Product.
  2. Contributes to the construction of pricing proposals and value analysis reports to demonstrate product benefits to clients
  3. Delivers compelling oral and written presentations with associated technical skills in building sales decks and training collateral
  4. Establishes forums to coordinate across the Product Solutions team to enable a successful configuration of solutions
  5. Identify product sales opportunities, coordinate RFP responses and ensure services issues are addressed and pricing is communicated and set up timely and accurately

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in problem-solving on a team within a cluster of products
  • Experience supporting the sales cycle by producing sales decks, training collateral, pricing proposals, and value analysis reports
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed and complex organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in leading initiatives to solve business challenges such as those with a top management consulting firm or in other generalist problem solving environments across financial services sectors
  • Excellent track record of success for supporting the design and execution of strategies in large, high performance organizations
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with high caliber sales and partnership teams with a bias for action, an ability to achieve challenging goals and a drive to innovate
  • An outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems along with the confidence to advance innovative and differentiated solutions
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to handle multiple work streams and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Bachelor's Degree required

Nice to have

  • Strong drive/ambition to develop into an individual contributor product salesperson
  • Prior product or sales experience in the banking / payments industry, fraud prevention and/or the ID & V space is helpful
  • well versed in technology, data, AI & ML subjects
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand JPM Payments and Trust and Safety products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of client needs, a passion for solving client pain points and a laser sharp focus on execution; You are a detailed orientated doer with grit, drive and strong work ethic; The ability to listen, learn, communicate, and establish strong relationships is essential for success
