Senior Product Sourcing Engineer, Electronic Warfare

This role is for a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer at Anduril, a defense technology company. The engineer will be responsible for strategic supply network development and cost management of product hardware throughout its lifecycle. This involves supplier selection, collaboration with suppliers and internal teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing) on product development, BOM management, CAPEX management, value-stream mapping, component qualification, cost engineering, and managing cost issues like tariffs and inflation. The role requires a technical degree in engineering and significant experience in sourcing engineering and supplier development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct supplier selection for a specific product, leveraging our approved supplier list
  2. Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via activities such as:
  3. Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM, working with Quality & Manufacturing, to ramp production internally and with our suppliers with high flexibility
  4. Manage the CAPEX throughout NPI
  5. Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
