This role is for a Senior Production Manager at Anduril Industries, a defense technology company. The manager will oversee the production of imaging hardware, lead a team of technicians, drive daily production goals, champion quality and safety, develop talent, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and communicate with senior leadership. The role requires experience in high-volume electro-mechanical production, ERP/MES systems, NPI, Lean manufacturing, and the ability to interpret technical documentation. A U.S. Secret security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Production Operations: Oversee the production of a product line, managing a team of talented technicians to ensure efficient production and delivery of imaging hardware.
  2. Drive Daily Production Goals: Strategically manage a production plan which solves for the desired production performance outcomes. Tactically direct daily operations to meet target on-time delivery goals.
  3. Champion Quality & Safety: Ensure quality and safety standards are followed, minimizing defects and fostering a safe working environment.
  4. Develop & Mentor Talent: Actively coach, mentor, and support production technicians, fostering professional growth and cross-training within the team.
  5. Lead Continuous Improvement: Implement 5S and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows.
