Senior Production Readiness Manager

This role is a customer-facing Production Readiness Manager for Workday, an AI platform for managing people, money, and agents. The primary focus is on ensuring successful performance testing and transition to production for large deployments and business-critical activities, acting as the 'voice of the customer' and driving issue resolution. While the company is an AI platform, this role is not directly building or researching AI models but rather managing the readiness and performance of the product for customers.

What you'd actually do

  1. We guide our largest and most strategic customers through pre-deployment performance testing and business-critical activities in production.
  2. By coordinating internally to meet project deliverables on time, we help customers improve performance and effectively manage their operations.
  3. The Production Readiness Manager ensures successful performance testing and transition to production.
  4. By collaborating with internal teams, the PRM drives the resolution of performance issues and advocates for customers.
  5. As the "voice of the customer", the Production Readiness Manager takes full ownership of the engagement during deployment.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in product support, customer success, account management or consulting for a complex B2B enterprise software solution with a solid grasp of underlying technologies
  • 4+ years of experience successfully implementing or managing a complex SaaS solution and working with large enterprise accounts
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • 7+ years experience providing technical support for complex software and environment issues with a solid grasp of underlying technologies
  • 5+ years experience in customer support, product support, or consulting with a special focus in ERP system performance (SaaS preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and successfully explain technical architecture.
  • Project management experience; ability to balance multiple customer engagements and initiatives and manage competing priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to influence, interact and collaborate with senior leaders as well as technical resources, internally and externally.
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills both technically and functionally.
  • Ability to learn new products quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle day-to-day work challenges confidently and to adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced process-focused environment.

Nice to have

  • Crisis management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with HR, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Financials or Payroll applications (preferably Workday).
