This role is a Senior Professional Services Account Executive at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focused on driving customer success and business growth through IT strategy, cloud modernization, and digital transformation projects. The role involves engaging with C-suite executives, understanding business outcomes, creating proposals, and ensuring successful delivery of services, with a specific emphasis on consulting on agentic AI-powered operating models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead transformative consulting engagements with Global 500 enterprises, architecting multi-year cloud modernization journeys and strategic IT transformations. Partner with C-suite executives to define ambitious business outcomes and translate technical capabilities into measurable competitive advantage.
  2. Shape the future of work by consulting on agentic AI-powered operating models—reimagining how organizations leverage autonomous intelligent systems to transform business processes, customer experiences, and operational workflows. Position AWS Professional Services as the trusted advisor for enterprises embarking on their agentic transformation journey.
  3. Orchestrate complex, high-value engagements by collaborating with elite ProServe teams to deliver flawlessly on mission-critical initiatives. Maintain strategic oversight throughout project lifecycles, ensuring consistent achievement of Customer Business Outcomes while identifying opportunities to expand impact.
  4. Drive business development across all organizational levels, create compelling proposals, secure sign-off on transformative Statements of Work, and collaborate with Amazon Global Sales teams to execute coordinated account strategies that deliver seamless customer experiences.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in technology consulting or professional services sales
  • Proven track record leading enterprise engagements exceeding $5M in contract value
  • Demonstrated success engaging C-suite executives in strategic business transformation initiatives
  • Experience with cloud computing, IT modernization, or digital transformation programs
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Nice to have

  • 10+ years consulting with Global 500 enterprises on multi-year transformation journeys
  • Deep expertise in AI/ML, generative AI, or agentic AI operating models
  • Track record architecting and delivering complex, multi-phase cloud modernization programs
  • Experience translating technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes and competitive advantage
  • MBA or advanced degree in business, technology, or related field
  • Fluency in German and English; additional European languages valued
  • Established executive relationships within Swiss/DACH enterprise accounts
