This role is for a Senior Program Manager in Talent Acquisition Enablement and Experience at Zillow, focusing on operationalizing their new Bangalore office. What you'd actually do

  1. Operationalize Talent Infrastructure: Build the foundational playbooks for our India office, encompassing the full employment life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, and local employee experience.
  2. Localize Global Standards: Adapt global policies, SOPs, and workflows for the India market, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and data privacy requirements.
  3. Advise on Global Scaling: Partner with Product Owners and SMEs to ensure global recruiting tools (Workday, Gem, Paradox, AI solutions) are optimized for India-specific nuances without creating fragmented regional processes.
  4. Drive Experience & Adoption: Lead change management, training, and adoption programs for local teams to ensure technology and processes deliver measurable impact.
  5. Strengthen Cross-Regional Partnerships: Serve as the operational bridge between India and U.S. leadership, surfacing risks and running feedback loops to influence global roadmaps.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years in talent or recruiting program management, HRIS, or talent operations in a global environment
  • Strong understanding of India hiring practices, compliance considerations, and cultural dynamics
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs end-to-end, identifying local needs and designing scalable solutions that integrate with global systems
  • Excellent cross-cultural communicator who can influence both technical product teams and business stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to guide decisions and measure the health of local operations
  • Comfortable operating in a start-up environment with a distributed global team
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have

  • Experience in a U.S.based or global tech company expanding into India
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, Gem, and/or Paradox
