Senior Program Manager, Site Technology

This role is for a Senior Program Manager focused on implementing and optimizing Audio/Visual (A/V), Network, and on-prem IT technologies across Uber's global offices. The primary responsibilities include leading project execution, ensuring standardized deployment, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders. The role requires technical understanding of IT infrastructure and program management skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as a regional leader for projects to drive measurable value from A/V, Network, and on-prem IT investments across Uber's entire workforce, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  2. Define and manage site technology plans, collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams to prioritize initiatives, define milestones, estimate efforts, and allocate resources effectively for complex, cross-functional projects.
  3. Drive execution excellence, tracking progress rigorously, identifying and resolving dependencies or roadblocks, evaluating risks, and ensuring clear communication of status and outcomes to leadership.
  4. Develop a strong understanding of A/V, Network, and on-prem IT capabilities and technical implementations at an architectural level to guide teams and ensure deployed solutions meet our robust and scalable standards.
  5. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand needs, manage expectations, and ensure site technology initiatives align with user requirements and deliver tangible benefits.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven track record as a Senior Program Manager, successfully delivering complex, cross-functional technical programs, ideally in a large-scale enterprise environment with global offices.
  • Direct, practical experience with A/V systems, corporate networking (LAN/WAN), and on-prem IT infrastructure (e.g., server rooms, access points).
  • Solid technical aptitude; ability to understand technical challenges, architecture, and risks associated with IT infrastructure implementations.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), stakeholder management, and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions objectively.
  • Metrics-driven approach with experience defining and tracking program success.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Nice to have

  • Experience specifically managing on-prem IT infrastructure projects for large, distributed organizations.
  • Deep understanding of network topologies and A/V control systems.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant technical field or certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CCNA, CTS).
  • Experience in change management related to technology adoption and new system rollouts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent changes and tight deadlines.
