This role is for a Senior Program Manager within Microsoft's Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization, specifically supporting the Cloud Infrastructure Acquisition team. The focus is on planning, building, and operating global datacenter infrastructure, including demand and supply planning, business operations, and strategic acquisition of land, lease, power, and networking. The role involves synthesizing feedback, managing complex projects and acquisition support processes, shaping regional portfolio strategies, and ensuring alignment between customer needs, market opportunities, and Microsoft's strategic goals. It requires strong program management, cloud technology, and strategic planning skills, with an emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and driving strategic execution.

  1. Synthesize and prioritize central feedback for existing and new region expansion strategies.
  2. Help manage complex projects, acquisition support processes, and help shape regional portfolio strategies.
  3. Excel at cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and inclusive leadership.
  4. Uses industry understanding to direct teams to ensure alignment between the customer, the market, internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and the goals and strategy of Microsoft. Holds team members accountable for collaborating with others (e.g., Engineering, Marketing, Design) to ensure that they can satisfy customer requirements.
  5. Provides expertise to help working teams validate the market size and opportunity of greatest value for the company. Facilitates collaboration across teams to bring about solutions.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
