This role is for a Senior Project Management Specialist at Boeing, focusing on leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives within the Enterprise Services Technology & Systems (ESTS) organization, specifically supporting the Building Operational Technology team. The responsibilities include end-to-end delivery from strategy development to execution and benefits realization, managing technology enhancements, organizational design, and continuous improvement efforts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead all phases of highly complex projects and programs from initiation to closeout, directing cross functional teams across multiple organizations
  2. Develop, maintain, integrate and analyze program level plans and schedules in accordance with project management industry standards and Boeing PMBP practices
  3. Design and execute the integration strategy for plans, schedules, change and baseline management across the program lifecycle
  4. Serve as primary project contact to establish stakeholder requirements, define scope, and align objectives across internal and external stakeholders; obtain approvals and authorize resource commitments
  5. Identify Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO); perform high level studies/analyses (trend, variance, impact); build and refine the business case; develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience developing and supporting project plans through the full project life cycle
  • Experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership
  • Experience with strong presentation and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings
  • Experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

Nice to have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience in facilities, operational technology, building management systems or other highly regulated/asset intensive environments
  • Experience with Global program and demonstrated ability to lead initiatives across geographic locations
  • Experience leading senior leaders and influencing progress at the executive level
