Senior Project Manager at GE Healthcare responsible for managing large, multi-site, multi-product projects or programs for strategic customers. What you'd actually do

  1. Proficiently manage the complexities associated with large, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, and communicate effectively with executive-level staff.
  2. Serve as the “face” of assigned programs and projects, interacting with executive leadership to communicate results, status, risks/issues and mitigation strategies.
  3. Concurrently manage multiple projects that are at various stages in the project life cycle.
  4. Monitor progress of each assigned program/project against the overall plan and act with urgency to notify leadership of any issues that require resolution.
  5. Create, maintain, and route formal project documentation to project teams and key stakeholders, within a timely manner by developing standard process and documentations.

Skills

Required

  • Combined 3+ years of successful system delivery, customer support or project management experience
  • Strong customer advocate with focus on meeting scheduled dates and customer expectations
  • Project Management skills (Advanced PM level)
  • Open mindset to respectfully considering diverse viewpoints and trying new thinking styles
  • Interpersonal skills to engage mutually beneficial dialogues with clients and colleagues alike
  • Capability of clear and concise written and verbal communication in both Japanese and English
  • Strongly compliance driven
  • Willingness and ability to travel (domestic and international)

Nice to have

  • Active certification in PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or other relevant customer-engaging IT service delivery frameworks, or equivalent proven capability
  • Successful experience in IT/network engineering, customer service, application support, or operation management consulting
  • Experience in healthcare industry with relevant domain knowledge
