This role is for a Senior Project Manager at Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Hamburg, Germany. The primary responsibility is to lead and manage projects across the full engineering lifecycle, from design through build, test, certification, and delivery. This includes creating project schedules, defining requirements, tracking progress, resolving issues, analyzing project performance, and improving project management processes and tools. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher, 7+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry (design, integration, certification), and 7+ years in program or project management. Experience with Microsoft suite and flexibility for global stakeholder meetings are preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and manage projects across the full engineering lifecycle—from design through build, test, certification, and delivery.
  2. Create and maintain clear, integrated project schedules that keep teams aligned and focused on key milestones.
  3. Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to define requirements, track progress, resolve issues, and keep everyone coordinated.
  4. Analyze project performance, risks, and opportunities, and provide meaningful updates and recommendations to support decisions.
  5. Help improve how we manage projects by enhancing tools, processes, and best practices.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering) or higher degree in engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in Aerospace industry, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management, leading project and/or program proposals of varying complexity (including development and execution of schedule milestones, resource assessments, risk and/or issues management)

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
