Senior Public Sector Account Executive (defence)

This role is for a Senior Public Sector Account Executive focused on the UK Defence market. The primary responsibility is to develop the company's footprint within UK Defence Primes by expanding current business, building new relationships, and growing the adoption of Elastic's solutions (Observability, Search, Security, and cloud) through B2B sales and tender participation. The role requires a strong track record in Defence market sales, understanding of SaaS, and the ability to navigate the Defence sector.

What you'd actually do

  1. Building awareness and driving demand for Elastic solutions within the Defence Primes by helping users and customers derive value from a range of use cases.
  2. Serving as an evangelist for our Open Source offerings while communicating and demonstrating the capabilities of our commercial features to key stakeholders.
  3. Uncovering new and diverse use cases to enable our users to derive maximum value.
  4. Collaborating across Elastic business functions to ensure a seamless customer experience
  5. Working thoughtfully with customers within the Defence Industrial Base community to identify new business opportunities, manage the sales cycle and close complex transactions.
  6. Building a robust business plan through community, customer and partner ecosystems to achieve significant Elastic growth within your territory
