Autodesk is seeking a Senior QA Engineer in Singapore to ensure the quality and reliability of technologies that bridge the physical and digital worlds. The role involves owning quality for features across desktop, web, and cloud platforms, designing and executing test strategies, contributing to automation, and collaborating with engineering and product teams. The ideal candidate will have 4-6+ years of QA experience, a strong understanding of testing complex applications, and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own test planning and execution for major features and workflows
  2. Design clear, comprehensive test cases aligned with product requirements
  3. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance and system-level testing
  4. Conduct exploratory and scenario-based testing focused on real-world workflows
  5. Validate usability, workflow consistency, and overall user experience

Skills

Required

  • 4–6+ years of experience in software QA or test engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience testing complex desktop and/or web applications
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)
  • Experience with a UI test automations tool (like QT Squish or similar)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience with Git and tools such as Jira
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with BIM, CAD, or other professional desktop software
  • Familiarity with Autodesk tools such as ReCap Pro, Revit, or Civil 3D
  • Experience testing applications handling large datasets (e.g., point clouds, meshes)
  • Exposure to performance or system-level testing
  • Basic understanding of geometry, coordinate systems, or spatial data concepts
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
