Senior Radar Receiver/Exciter Integration & Test Engineer responsible for solving complex technical problems, data analysis, calibration, and integration of hardware with firmware and software for Radar systems. Requires experience with RF/Radar systems, integration, and programming in MATLAB/C++. Must have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Solve complex technical problems and provide highly innovative and ingenious solutions in Radar and Receiver Exciter design, analysis, integration, and test.
  2. Liaison between many Radar system components.
  3. Responsible for Radar Receiver Exciter data analysis and calibration, integration of hardware with firmware and software, and resolving system level issues that may stem from software or hardware anomalies.
  4. Support system and subsystem level radar integration planning, execution and reporting.
  5. Resolve complex technical issues seen during design, integration, and test of Radar Receiver and Exciter sub-systems.

Skills

Required

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience
  • Experience with RF and/or Radar systems
  • 3+ years of experience in System or subsystem Integration, Verification and Validation
  • 3+ years of experience in Radar and/or receiver systems design and integration
  • 3+ years of experience in Programming in MATLAB, C/C++
  • 3+ years of experience in RF Circuit design and analysis
  • 3+ years of experience in In-phase and quadrature (I&Q data) processing and analysis
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science in Electrical/RF Engineering
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
  • Experience with root cause identification, corrective action implementation and associated documentation
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing techniques and FPGA implementation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and MATLAB skills
  • Technical background in Cascade analysis and/or frequency planning
  • Technical background in Filter design and fabrication
  • Technical background in Circuit card assembly and fabrication
  • Technical background in High speed data converter test / characterization
  • Technical background in Low Noise RF source design and test experience
  • Technical background in Radar System calibration design
  • Technical background in I&Q data processing and analysis
