Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Radar Senior Systems Engineer to join our Surface Radars and Radars team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting a range of sensor and effector programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept development to deployment.

What You Will Do
In this Systems Engineer role, you will support the following activities:
- Core Systems Engineering: Develop system requirements, radar software requirements, radar processing algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
- Concept Development: Develop concepts of operations (CONOPS) for radar systems in support of mission needs.
- Radar Algorithm & Analysis: Perform radar processing algorithm development and conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
- Analysis Tool Development: Develop analysis tools to support problem identification, troubleshooting, and system performance evaluation.
- Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
- Drive Performance: Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions that improve system performance and resolve issues.
- Modeling and Simulation: Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation activities.
- Present Findings: Present technical findings, analyses, and solutions to leadership and customers.
- Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.

**Qualifications You Must Have **
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following: systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, systems test.
- Experience with one or more of the following C++, Python, MATLAB, similar programming languages
**Qualifications We Prefer **
- Experience with the design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures on DoD systems.
- Experience with radar processing algorithms, radar software requirements, and performance analysis, including development of supporting analysis tools.
- Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments.
- Experience developing and managing requirements using DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools, including application of model-based and digital engineering practices.
- Experience evaluating radar or sensor systems using simulated environments to support verification and validation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and interfacing with internal and external customers, including presentation of technical results.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
