Senior Radio Frequency Test & Integration Engineer, Electronic Warfare

This role focuses on testing and integration of Radio Frequency (RF) and Electronic Warfare (EW) products for a defense technology company. Responsibilities include developing test strategies, characterizing wireless systems, analyzing failures, integrating hardware and software, developing test equipment, and automating tests. The role requires significant experience in hardware/software/system validation, familiarity with test equipment and Linux, and proficiency in Python or Matlab for automation and data analysis. A U.S. Secret security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create and maintain electrical system test strategy and test plans for various Anduril Electronics Warfare (EW) and Radio Frequency (RF) products.
  2. Characterize wireless communication systems and devices.
  3. Analyze and drive coverage and analysis of failures observed in integration, characterization, and system level testing.
  4. Integration testing of subassemblies and systems including RF and digital hardware, firmware, embedded software, and application software.
  5. Automate tests to enhance test coverage and ensure reproducibility and repeatability.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on hardware, software, and / or system validation and verification testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Skilled with test equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
  • Familiar with Linux applications like command line (terminal) interface, creating and executing shell scripts, debug utilities, and general file system navigation.
  • Familiar with programming languages like Python or Matlab to perform data parsing, data analysis, and test automation.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% and work at remote sites supporting test integration, commissioning.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
