What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process. This will include creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers
  2. Source stellar candidates. Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market
  3. Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent
  4. Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions (i.e., talent marketing, LinkedIn sourcing, referrals, etc.)
  5. Create and extend job offers and close identified candidates

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in technology recruitment in a corporate/staffing environment recruiting for niche/senior level positions
  • Strong track record of hiring software engineers at multiple levels across different software engineering domains
  • Experience collaborating with recruiting managers and peers on sourcing strategies
  • Experience serving as a talent advisor and partner to hiring managers and engineering leadership for all things related to recruiting

Nice to have

  • Workday experience is a strong asset
  • 2+ years of experience leveraging sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Stack Overflow, and Google x-ray searches of Twitter or GitHub
  • 2+ years of experience creating and updating talent maps
