Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson · Pharma · Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland

The Senior Regional Transportation Analyst role at Johnson & Johnson focuses on optimizing regional inbound transportation for the MedTech segment in EMEA. This involves managing relationships with 3PL/4PL providers, leading performance measurement, driving continuous improvement (CIP) targets, and collaborating with various supply chain functions to ensure reliable and cost-efficient supply. The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in transportation and supply chain management, and an understanding of import/export processes. While the posting mentions an awareness of AI concepts and prompt generation, the core responsibilities are centered around traditional supply chain and logistics operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive value to MedTech EMEA through the optimized regional transportation flows for Inbound Freight, i.e., transportation flows from Manufacturing sites to the Hubs, from the Hubs to affiliates and distributor DCs and inter-affiliate stock moves (owned/managed by EMEA region), as well as raw material and packaging flows for selected Manufacturing sites.
  2. Handle relationships with 3PL / 4PL (Control Tower) via metrics and by providing them with strategic directions and guidance, as well as driving continuous improvements.
  3. Lead performance measurement of Transport reliability through critical metrics aligned with MedTech PLAN and EDC operations teams. Provide input for MedTech Executive performance reviews
  4. Deliver on CIP targets through operational improvements while ensuring service, quality, reliability and compliance. Lead regular reviews with MedTech Segment leads, Finance and other relevant partners.
  5. Represent IBF Transportation in E2E MedTech Supply Chain forums and projects, drive E2E process alignments and Trade-offs, and establish input on Inbound freight into S&OP processes.
