Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to support Warfighter Systems programs. The role involves ensuring products meet performance requirements and withstand environmental conditions by applying advanced Reliability tools and methodologies. Responsibilities include leading Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, performing reliability analysis (MTTF/MTBF, Weibull), developing qualification test plans, and driving root cause analysis. The ideal candidate has experience with safety-critical systems in defense/aerospace, particularly wearable or AR systems, and expertise in reliability analysis techniques and framework development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support and review system block diagrams, interface control documents, and schematics for compliance, redundancy, and accuracy against requirements and concept of operations.
  2. Lead Failure Modes & Effects Analysis efforts and collaborate with cross-functional Engineering teams to implement product improvements for Reliability.
  3. Perform reliability analysis to determine MTTF/MTBF, MTBSA, MTBEFF, etc. utilizing Anduril requirements, specifications, and relevant industry standards (i.e. 217Plus).
  4. Develop Qualification Test, ALT, and/or HALT plans to ensure appropriate requirements coverage, and work with Test Engineering to fixture, instrument, and execute test campaigns.
  5. Develop Maintainability prediction models using MIL-HDBK-472, and support the development of Preventative Maintenance & Sparing plans.

What the JD emphasized
