Roblox is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer Manager to lead a team focused on building cutting-edge rendering technology for their 3D immersive platform. The role involves technical leadership, architectural guidance, team mentorship, and attracting talent, with a focus on visual quality, scalability, and performance across a wide range of devices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and mentor a world-class team of rendering engineers focused on one of the following pillars:
  2. Act as a hands-on technical leader, providing guidance on architectural decisions and implementation, from low-level details to high level choice of algorithms, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of our technology stack.
  3. Partner with your team and other engineering leaders to define and execute the vision for the core rendering technology, anticipating future needs and trends, and ensuring our plans are aligned with the company vision.
  4. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and open communication, where all ideas are valued and explored, and invest in the development of our engineers.
  5. Help build and expand our rendering organization by attracting, interviewing, and retaining top-tier engineering talent.
