Senior Renewals Representative, Account Based

This role focuses on optimizing renewal workflows for existing customers, driving seat expansions, and managing customer procurement interactions. It involves collaborating with Account Executives, mentoring team members, and improving CRM system usage and automation workflows. The role is primarily customer-facing sales and account management within a software/SaaS company.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and streamline renewal workflows from start to finish.
  2. Defend the existing customer base by ensuring timely and accurate renewal execution with expert-level knowledge.
  3. Sell additional seats to existing buyers, business units, or divisions at the time of renewal, leveraging advanced playbooks and innovative strategies.
  4. Intervene when auto-renewals are disabled to prevent churn, identifying the best approach for each situation.
  5. Lead interactions with customer procurement teams to ensure successful renewal execution.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years in inside sales, renewals, account management, or customer success (preferably in software/SaaS)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and optimize high-volume renewal cycles
  • Proven track record in closing renewals and driving seat expansions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM and renewal tracking systems, including developing automation workflows
  • Customer-first mindset with a focus on satisfaction and retention

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives
