This role is for a Senior Renewals Specialist at Amplitude, an AI analytics platform company. The primary focus is on customer retention, managing renewals, identifying churn risks, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer success and predictable revenue. While the company is AI-focused, this role is customer-facing and sales-adjacent, not directly involved in building or shipping AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintain strong & healthy relationships with customers for account management and renewal support related tasks
  2. Regularly monitor your portfolio’s account health to discover opportunities to help customers realize maximum value from Amplitude
  3. Serve as the renewals owner, proactively resolving issues, mitigating churn risks, and closing renewal contracts
  4. Develop expertise in Amplitude’s product to conduct discovery calls, tailored demos, and value driven presentations to the customer
  5. Identify early churn signals through data analysis of product usage and contract trends

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in account or renewal management within a high-volume B2B SaaS environment
  • Strong work ethic, customer-first mindset, and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Commitment: Goal-oriented, hands-on, and get-things-done attitude
  • Composure: Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadline
  • Technical aptitude (i.e. the ability to learn and explain technical products and concepts) and business acumen (i.e. an understanding for revenue and growth drivers in organizations)
