Senior Research Scientist, Neutral Atoms Control Electronics, Quantum AI

Google Google · Big Tech · Boulder, CO +1

Research Scientist role focused on designing and implementing control electronics for neutral-atom-based quantum processors within Google Quantum AI. The role involves architecting, developing, testing, and deploying electronic control systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors, and contributing to the advancement of quantum computing capabilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the deployment of electronics to quantum computers.
  2. Drive ambiguous board-level projects of medium complexity from concept to production and deployment.
  3. Work with cross-functional team to evaluate control system requirements and develop board-level solutions to meet these requirements, collaborating with other board and system level designers and vendors as needed.
  4. Own board and system-level design of custom electronic systems for the control of neutral atom quantum processors.
