NVIDIA is seeking security and privacy researchers to develop secure, private, and safe AI systems. The role involves understanding vulnerabilities, developing hardware/software/algorithms for trustworthy AI, collaborating across teams, and publishing research. Requires a Ph.D. in a relevant field, expertise in security areas, and coding skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Understand and analyze the potential vulnerabilities and risks in future systems for AI and AI-based systems.
  2. Develop creative hardware, software, and algorithms to enable trustworthy AI systems with strong and verifiable security, privacy, and safety guarantees.
  3. Collaborate with a diverse set of teams across the company, spanning software, hardware, research, and product groups.
  4. Publish original research and speak at conferences and events.

Skills

Required

  • Ph.D. in CE/CS/EE or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in computer architecture, operating systems, programming languages/compilers, applied cryptography, and/or AI/ML
  • Expertise in at least one specific security area
  • Experience with experimental research and development
  • Coding in C, C++, Python, and/or scripting languages
