Senior Revenue Accountant

Lovable Lovable · Coding AI · Stockholm, Sweden · Finance & Business Operations

This role is for a Senior Revenue Accountant at a fast-growing AI company. The primary focus is on owning revenue recognition, billing accuracy, and the underlying financial systems. The role involves partnering with Engineering and Finance Systems to improve infrastructure, ensuring accurate revenue flows, and managing AR. It requires strong knowledge of SaaS and enterprise revenue recognition, experience with billing platforms like Stripe, and an AI-native operator mindset for using AI tools in finance workflows. The company is based in Stockholm and emphasizes high ownership and velocity.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own Stripe end-to-end from a Finance perspective — billing logic, invoicing, revenue data, and JEs across self-serve and enterprise.
  2. Ensure accurate, scalable billing and revenue flows across both revenue streams; own enterprise invoicing across Light and Stripe.
  3. Partner with Engineering and Finance Systems to define and evolve billing and revenue infrastructure, including automation of deferrals, schedules, and reporting outputs.
  4. Own revenue recognition for enterprise contracts end-to-end — policy, technical judgment, and audit support — in accordance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
  5. Act as the primary interface between Finance, Sales, Customer teams, and Engineering on all revenue matters.
