Senior Revenue Accountant responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, executing revenue-related activities during month-end closes, performing revenue and AR reconciliations, and preparing revenue footnotes in financial reports. Requires partnership with Technical Revenue, Cash Collections, Billing, and FP&A teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will be ensuring accurate revenue recognition in compliance with standards like ASC 606, executing revenue-related activities during month-end closes, performing revenue and AR reconciliations, and preparing revenue footnotes in financial reports.
  2. You will partner with the Technical Revenue, Cash Collections, Billing, and FP&A to ensure revenue is recorded accurately, in compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606), and aligned with operational and financial goals.
  3. Prepare monthly and quarterly entries for revenue and deferred revenue to ensure the appropriate revenue and cost treatments.
  4. Monitor revenue entries for accuracy and compliance with company policies and external requirements.
  5. Reconcile revenue accounts, AR adjustment accounts, deferred revenue balances, and other revenue accounts on a monthly basis.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 1-2 years in revenue.

  • Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite, SAP, and SFDC is a plus.
  • Prior knowledge in system implementation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • NetSuite and Salesforce experience
