This role focuses on ensuring the safety and airworthiness of Boeing aircraft and external stores for military programs, involving strategy development, data analysis, stakeholder partnership, and policy leadership within safety and regulatory domains.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversees the development, maintenance, and communication of complex strategies, policies, and initiatives to enhance safety and airworthiness of Boeing products and services.
  2. Researches, analyzes, and assesses highly complex safety and regulatory data, trends, and developments; provides consultation on the impact to Boeing products and services.
  3. Influences and shapes safety and airworthiness initiatives through applying advanced specialized technical expertise in airspace operations, human factors, air navigation, customer operations, safety management, policy, or regulatory domains.
  4. Partners with external stakeholders (customers, regulators, industry, and external organizations) to identify complex safety and airworthiness issues and advises on solutions. Addresses escalated highly complex safety and regulatory technical inquires and support requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Oversees investigation of organizational factors that contribute to safety and airworthiness issues.
