Senior Sales Data Analyst

This role focuses on generating reports, designing dashboards, and managing KPIs for sales and marketing performance. It involves analyzing data to identify strengths and areas for enhancement, and developing standardized reports for the Go-to-Market organization. The role requires strong analytical and data visualization skills, with experience in business intelligence tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Generate quarterly reports on marketing and sales performance for presentation to sales leadership, the C-suite, and the board of directors
  2. Design, construct, and manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and dashboards
  3. Establish and uphold documentation regarding sales tools, procedures, and policies
  4. Aid regional sales leadership in crafting Quarterly Business Reviews by utilizing data to identify strengths and areas for enhancement
  5. Develop standardized reports and accompanying documentation to enable Braze's Go-to-Market (GTM) Organization to independently access data and adopt a more data-centric approach in their daily responsibilities
  6. Streamline critical KPI reporting into a cohesive and easily comprehensible format

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of proven experience in business intelligence or a quantitative field (e.g. business analytics, data science, financial analysis)
  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience using Business Intelligence and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience working at a SaaS business strongly preferred
