Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for their SLED (State, Local, and Education) market segment. This role will lead the US SLED Mid Market team, focusing on driving revenue growth, hiring, and brand awareness. The manager will be responsible for sales leadership, organizational planning, customer service, and executing go-to-market programs. Experience in complex sales cycles, managing sales teams, and understanding network performance/security is required. The company culture emphasizes building, iteration, and leveraging AI to improve products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive sales growth through successful leadership, organizational planning, customer service, and outstanding execution of all regional go-to-market programs (sales, channel, customer success, solutions engineering, business development, support and field marketing).
  2. Lead a diverse sales team supporting volume and velocity sales motions across State, Local and Education (HiEd and K-12) accounts
  3. Continue to grow and build the U.S. Sales team and drive the hiring needs through partnering with global functional leadership and recruiting resources.
  4. Adopt and influence the company's sales methodology/process and drive best practices on selling, forecasting, and account management.
  5. Represent Cloudflare as the single point of contact for all operational concerns, ensuring proper and timely escalation and resolution.
