This role is a Senior Sales Specialist for Analytics within AWS Enterprise Accounts. The primary focus is on driving revenue and market share by helping customers leverage AWS analytics and AI/ML services, including Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock, to achieve their business goals. The role involves understanding customer needs, crafting strategic plans, articulating value propositions, and managing the sales process from evaluation to closing deals. It requires a blend of strategic sales leadership, technical acumen in cloud and AI solutions, and strong business development skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
  2. Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
  3. Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  4. Develop working backwards analytics visions including business case and financial justification, potentially gleaned from earnings reports.
  5. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS analytics services.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • 5+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
  • Experience in any Bigdata architecture, or experience in technical support and experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
