This role is for a Senior Scheduling Coordinator at Disney's Central Shops, a manufacturing and maintenance facility. The primary responsibilities include using scheduling software like Primavera P6 and Maximo to create and manage production and project schedules, ensuring resource capacity aligns with scheduled capacity, and identifying priority levels for work orders. The role requires extensive experience with Primavera P6 and a background in manufacturing or construction project scheduling.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with Planning Software (Maximo) and Scheduling Software (Primavera) to input new production orders and resource schedules for the different teams across Central Shops. Daily, you will run the production schedule for each production area. You will also run project schedules for our Client Services Managers for their project management of their assigned projects.
  2. You will work with the Production Areas to ensure the resource capacities are representative of the scheduled capacities and avoid any variances.
  3. You will work with Planners and the Production Areas to determine the best sequence of operations to have all the necessary predecessors completed for any final assembly.
  4. You will identify priority levels for the 2,200 active work orders to balance the needs of all of our internal partners in the parks and resorts.
  5. Analyze current systems and reevaluate processes to ensure the most efficient scheduling workflow.

Skills

Required

  • Extensive experience using Primavera P6.
  • Manufacturing or construction project scheduling with at least 2 years' experience using Primavera P6 scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of computer programs, including knowledge in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Understanding of how to consolidate multiple sources of information/analyses into a cohesive story and recommendation.
  • Comfort with understanding and conveying written and verbal data and analysis to partners at all levels.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of assembly, machining, welding, fiber glass, paint and repair processes Experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer in a manufacturing, maintenance or processing environment.
  • Proficiency Maximo and SAP
