Senior Scientist I, Translational Research

This role focuses on translational research in precision medicine, leveraging Tempus' AI platform to analyze clinical and molecular datasets for drug discovery and development. The scientist will partner with pharma clients, extract insights from data, stay updated on industry trends, and communicate technical results to non-technical audiences. The role involves co-architecting solutions, authoring whitepapers on AI in drug discovery, and contributing to product/engineering workflows.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with our pharma clients to design, develop and execute computational research projects leveraging the Tempus platform to advance precision medicine research programs.
  2. Analyze and integrate large diverse clinical and molecular datasets to extract insights and drive new research opportunities.
  3. Stay ahead of research and industry trends in oncology drug development, and identify specific areas where the Tempus platform can establish new markets.
  4. Become an expert in our biopharma partners’ strategy, pipeline and portfolio to proactively determine all areas that the Tempus platform could add value to the drug development process of our partners.
  5. Develop and drive global account strategy in coordination with the account team.

What the JD emphasized
