DoorDash is seeking Senior & SDE II Software Engineers for their Data Platform team. This role focuses on building and operating scalable compute and ingestion frameworks, data quality, cataloging, privacy, and compliance standards. The team supports ML practitioners and enables business-critical insights and real-time personalization capabilities. Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Flink, Kafka, and Airflow is essential.

What the JD emphasized

  • Experience working on big data domains (streaming, batch, data lake OLAP) and promoting realtime insights and data analytics at scale using technologies such as Apache Kafka, Flink, Spark,, Cassandra,, Clickhouse, Iceberg etc.
  • Prior technical experience in Big Data infrastructure & governance - you've built meaningful pieces of data infrastructure.
  • Experience improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of data platforms
