NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Security Architect to design and implement security solutions for their high-performance networking products. The role involves collaborating across hardware, software, and research teams to ensure security requirements and standards are met, applying hardware security primitives, and working with customers on security issues. Requires 10+ years of experience, a background in embedded systems, firmware, and security-by-design principles, with strong programming skills in Python, ARM assembly, and C/C++.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate across the company to guide the direction of a converged NIC, working with hardware, software, research, and product teams.
  2. Research, design, develop, and implement architecture solutions (Hardware and software) meeting internal and external security requirements and standards.
  3. Apply innovative hardware security primitives to enable next-generation secure firmware and software supported by innovative hardware.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external partners on the implementation of open-source software.
  5. Architectural modeling, validation, microarchitectural definition, following standards bodies, and developing infrastructure enabling trusted platforms using hardware security methods.

Skills

Required

  • BSc, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of proven experience
  • Background with embedded systems and programming low-level firmware
  • Security-by-design hardware and principles of privileges
  • Compartmentalization of software with security standards
  • Programming and debugging fundamentals across languages such as Python, ARM assembly, and C/C++
  • Solid programming skills
  • Deep understanding of secure system building

Nice to have

  • Background in networking (TCP/IP), network security (TLS/IPSec), and packet processing technologies
  • Proven track record of leading features across teams
  • Expertise with Linux security primitives and microkernels architecture
