This role is for a Senior SEM Manager responsible for owning and scaling the paid search channel as a core driver of demand generation and revenue growth for 1Password, a cybersecurity company that pioneers Unified Access Management for businesses and AI agents. The role requires deep, hands-on experience in paid search/SEM channel management within a high-growth B2B SaaS demand generation team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the global B2B paid search strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  2. Develop and execute a paid search roadmap aligned to MQL, pipeline, and revenue impact, informing and adapting to broader B2B demand generation strategy
  3. Responsible for ongoing keyword, audience, bidding, creative, and landing page optimization to maximize leads, mqls, sqls, qualified pipeline & CAC efficiency
  4. Establish and execute experimentation and testing to continuously improve performance.
  5. Partner with analytics and revenue operations teams to ensure accurate attribution, forecasting, and insight-driven decision-making.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of deep, hand-on experience in Paid Search / SEM
  • Demonstrated experience owning paid search as a primary B2B demand generation channel in a Sales-Led growth motion
  • Experience connecting paid search performance to broader demand generation, lifecycle, and revenue strategies
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4, SA360, and B2B attribution and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear, data-backed recommendations.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting sales led demand motions is preferred.
