Senior Software Developer, Observability (remote)

Autodesk Autodesk · Enterprise · Toronto, ON +1

Software Engineer to design and build observability solutions (APM, synthetic monitoring, telemetry pipelines) for reliable, scalable cloud services. Will work with Dynatrace, Catchpoint, OpenTelemetry, and cloud-native infrastructure. Leverages AI-assisted development tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Implement technical solutions in Agile iterations, including design, development, testing, deployment, and release, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security
  2. Design and build observability solutions for cloud-based systems, including metrics, logs, traces, and synthetic monitoring
  3. Develop and enhance integrations with Dynatrace and Catchpoint, including dashboards, alerting, and monitoring configurations
  4. Develop and maintain OpenTelemetry instrumentation and telemetry pipelines to ensure consistent observability across services
  5. Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools to provision and manage observability resources
