About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise to join the Project Graph team at Adobe.
Project Graph is a creative system that lets you combine first- and third-party AI models, Adobe tools, and custom interactive components inside a visual, designer-friendly node graph editor. Connect a library of tactile, interactive components that bring creative control of AI back to your fingertips. Transform ideas into powerful workflows and modular tools that run anywhere, from the web to Adobe apps like Photoshop. In this backend-focused role, you will serve as the senior engineering partner to Graph's enterprise customers. You will develop the services infrastructure that makes Graph dependable at organizational scale, work directly with creative leaders, IT teams, and creative technologists at large organizations to understand how they build production workflows, and translate those signals into backend roadmap direction alongside product management. You will also lead enablement efforts that help enterprise teams adopt, integrate, and succeed on the platform.
What you'll do:
- Build scalable, resilient APIs and compute services that can cater to millions of Creative Cloud users and enterprise applications.
- Collaborating with other engineers, product managers, designers and user researchers to design and develop new features and tools.
- Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, well documented and maintainable code.
- Work closely with internal and external customers to understand their workflows and needs, and adapt quickly based on their feedback.
- Lead customer enablement for the backend platform, including onboarding sessions, technical deep-dives, integration guidance, reference architectures, and documentation that help enterprise teams adopt and succeed on Graph.
- Mentor engineers across the team through code reviews, design reviews, and hands-on collaboration.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
- 12+ years of backend software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in a server-side language, like Node.js/TypeScript.
- Expertise in at least one SQL database and one non-SQL database.
- Hands-on experience in building high-scale microservices, data lakes, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline development.
- Knowledge of security concepts and protocols for services on the cloud.
- Demonstrated experience partnering directly with enterprise customers, gathering structured feedback, and translating it into product and platform direction.
- Experience leading customer enablement, including technical onboarding, integration guidance, reference architectures, or developer documentation.
- An interest in and ability to learn new technologies.
- Ability to tackle problems in a sustainable way, always striving to improve our processes and learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise concerns such as identity and access, data residency, audit, content provenance, and compliance.
- Experience with AI model serving, inference orchestration, or generative execution pipelines.
- Experience developing for multiple devices and platforms.
- Experience with monitoring tools.
- Experience with Agile development processes.

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $173,500 -- $331,050 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $228,600 - $331,050 In Washington, the pay range for this position is $218,200 - $316,000
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
