Senior Software Engineer

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate scalable, highly available infrastructure systems that support core product functionality and internal services. The role involves leading the design and evolution of internal platforms, owning infrastructure components end-to-end, and ensuring systems meet security and compliance standards. This is a core engineering role focused on infrastructure and platform development within the fintech domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, develop, and operate scalable, highly available infrastructure systems that support core product functionality and internal services.
  2. Lead the design, development, and evolution of internal platforms, shared services, and tooling that enable reliable, efficient software development, testing, and deployment at scale.
  3. Own infrastructure components end to end, including requirements definition, architectural design, implementation, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
  4. Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering teams to support complex, business-critical workloads, platform capabilities, and large-scale system integrations.
  5. Identify systemic reliability, performance, scalability, and operational challenges and implement durable solutions through automation, observability, and engineering best practices.
