Senior Software Engineer for Microsoft Copilot Experiences team, focusing on building reliable, performant, and intelligent user experiences for Copilot. The role involves frontend systems, distributed services, and telemetry, with responsibilities spanning client, service, and data layers, including improving reliability and latency of Copilot interactions. It also includes building telemetry pipelines, designing session-level event models, and architecting large-scale, low-latency systems. Experience with AI/agent-based systems in production, observability, evaluation, and conversational interfaces is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and build high-performance, resilient web experiences for Microsoft Copilot.
  2. Own end-to-end delivery across client, service, and data layers.
  3. Improve reliability, latency, and responsiveness of Copilot interactions (e.g., time-to-first-token, rendering, streaming UX).
  4. Build and evolve telemetry pipelines and instrumentation to measure user engagement and satisfaction.
  5. Architect systems for large-scale, low-latency experiences.
