The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Architect our data storage systems and indexing by working with Engineers and product leaders to store and process exabytes of data for the Chronicle Data Intelligence and Platform capabilities.
- Work with teammates to identify opportunities to make our platform simpler, more scalable, and able to unleash the full potential of our customers’ data.
- Solve complex problems related to interactions between the Chronicle environment and those of our customers.
- Lead design of major software components, systems, and features.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our platform.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience in implementing software stack responsible for large-scale data processing systems or large-scale database systems at scale.
