Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and managing cloud infrastructure for ClickHouse Cloud, including compute, networking, security, and a multi-cloud architecture. Responsibilities involve architecting scalable distributed systems, automating cloud resource management, improving reliability and scalability, and designing security components. Requires experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), IaC tools (Terraform), Kubernetes, and understanding of network protocols and security best practices, including SOC2 and GDPR.

What you'd actually do

  1. Architect and build a robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure.
  2. Build a cutting-edge cloud-native platform on top of the public cloud, and automate our cloud resource management.
  3. Work closely with our ClickHouse core database development team, and security team and partner with them to produce the SAS offering.
  4. Work on routing and traffic components to improve the reliability and scalability of our cloud service.
  5. Systematically improve availability by applying industry and distributed systems best practices.
