Senior Software Engineer, Generative Ai, Safety Classifiers, Agentic Systems, Google Ads

Google Google · Big Tech · Mountain View, CA +1

The Actor Safety Foundational Modeling (ASFM) team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build core ML models and infrastructure for detecting and preventing abusive behavior in Google Ads. This role involves developing AI/ML models, leveraging LLMs and agent infrastructures, building and deploying AI agents for investigation and threat hunting, and creating scalable infrastructure for safety operations. The position emphasizes innovation and rapid deployment of generative AI solutions to stay ahead of adversarial tactics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop AI/ML models, including leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agent infrastructures to understand the behavior of advertisers in the Google Ads ecosystem.
  2. Build and deploy AI Agents capable of performing complex reasoning, automated investigations, and proactive threat hunting to augment our safety operations.
  3. Create robust, scalable infrastructure that allows our detection and enforcement teams to identify and act on bad actors quickly and effectively.
  4. Innovate and rapidly deploy new solutions to ensure we are always one step ahead of those who seek to abuse our platform, leveraging generative AI to simulate and defend against emerging adversarial tactics.
