What you'd actually do

  1. Write and test product or system development code.
  2. Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  3. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  4. Own the improvement, hardening, modernization and maintenance of critical security mechanisms such as Keystore, RPC Security Policy, BCID, etc.
  5. Triage and address externally and internally reported vulnerabilities, prioritize and reduce backlog of existing vulnerabilities. Partner with teams across workspace to ensure they are fixed before major PR incidents. When possible, strive to fix whole classes of vulnerabilities rather than mitigating a single instance. Improve processes.
