Responsibilities
- Lead the Warsaw site teams responsible for adapting and creating hardware and software for new Emergent AI products in close collaboration with other hardware and software teams in the cloud.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing strategic guidance and fostering professional development.
- Partner closely with tech leads, tech lead managers, and engineering managers across the organization to deliver high-impact results.
- Navigate distributed operations across the US, Asia, and Europe, guiding engineers as they collaborate across continents to build a brand-new AI Infrastructure product.
- Be involved in hardware/software strategy and support of external customer needs and issues with the product.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- 5 years of experience leading a team of engineers to build AI infrastructure.
