This role is for a Senior Solution Consultant at Workday, a Fortune 500 company and a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers in Japan, leveraging deep expertise in HCM and business insights to demonstrate how the Workday platform solves complex business challenges. Responsibilities include collaborating with sales teams, delivering tailored demonstrations, and driving transformation in HR management. The role requires 5+ years of experience in pre-sales or solution consulting for enterprise-level HCM software, strong functional knowledge of core HCM business processes, and proficiency in both Japanese and English.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with sales (Account Executives) to develop and execute sales strategies, understand customer challenges and business objectives, and clearly articulate our value proposition.
  2. Prepare and deliver compelling, visionary product demonstrations that showcase the true power of our HCM suite, tailoring the message to resonate with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  3. Maintain deep knowledge of our HCM product roadmap, competitive landscape, and industry trends, positioning Workday as a market leader.
  4. Act as an HCM subject matter expert, guiding customers through technical and functional discovery sessions to understand their specific needs and build a trusted case for our solutions.
  5. Participate in internal initiatives such as feedback sessions to product development teams, creation of sales enablement materials, and mentoring less experienced team members.
