This role is a Senior Solution Engineer at Klaviyo, focusing on the enterprise sales space. The primary responsibility is to build deep relationships with prospects, understand their technical needs, and demonstrate how Klaviyo can be integrated into their existing tech stacks. The role involves diving deep into technical aspects, prototyping solutions, and shipping improvements to the Klaviyo experience. A key aspect is transforming workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems, and exploring new AI tools and workflows to enhance efficiency. While the role is not directly building AI models, it heavily utilizes and integrates AI into customer solutions and internal workflows.

What you'd actually do

  1. Spearhead the technical and solution pre sales campaign to prospective Klaviyo Mid Market and Enterprise clients to help Klaviyo hit its revenue targets, including
  2. You will become a complete expert in the Klaviyo experience, from understanding the data pipelines and code base of our integrations to understanding technical tradeoffs between different implementations
  3. Support product field alignment by being the voice of our customer needs and working closely with our Developer Experience team and Product teams to synthesize product gap information
  4. Be the go-to internal technical and subject matter expert resource, educating sales team members as well as prospects/customers to provide a consistently positive Klaviyo experience.
  5. Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering/architecture for a software product or digital agency experience with solution implementation and client engagement
  • 3+ years in a role working with web development languages (Javascript, Node.js, React); REST APIs; and/or with a general purpose programming language such as Python
  • Strong domain knowledge in several of the following areas and a proven ability to learn new domains quickly: marketing automation tools, customer data platforms (CDP), eCommerce systems, mobile apps, analytics, ad tech, data engineering
  • Proven ability to track and learn from the ever-changing technical landscape and incorporate modern, optimized solutions to high-value problems.
  • A compelling and honest communicator and storyteller who can impress prospects at any level from executive to developer, with the capability to persuade technical stakeholders as well as explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you’re excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
