Snowflake is seeking Senior Solution Engineers to join their Global field teams. This role involves working with customers to understand and utilize their data platform, focusing on AI-native thinking and treating AI as a collaborator. The Solution Architect will partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to provide technical expertise, accelerate customer journeys, and uncover new use cases. Responsibilities include presenting Snowflake's technology, conducting demos and proofs-of-concept, collaborating with internal teams, and running training sessions. The role requires a strong background in modern data stacks, SQL, Python, and customer-facing solution engineering, with a preference for experience in healthcare or life sciences.

What you'd actually do

  1. Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
  2. Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
  3. Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them
  4. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing
  5. Be an advocate and develop mutual trust with the technical audience on the customer side

What the JD emphasized

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience working in customer facing solution engineering (tech sales) role, preferably with large Global accounts
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python
  • Experience working with large global accounts, GSIs and/or Global Capability Centers
  • Industry experience in either BFSI, Manufacturing, Technology or HCLS domains
  • Data Science/AI/ML experience across a variety of platforms
