What you'd actually do

  1. Lead technical strategy and architecture for a rapidly scaling defense-sector partner with significant infrastructure investment
  2. Own end-to-end solution architecture spanning compute, data, ML, and supply chain operational tooling
  3. Operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, translating business objectives into AWS-native architectures
  4. Provide thought leadership and capture best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community
  5. Collaborate with world-class sales and business development teams to drive partner success

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
  • Experience with IoT, HPC, AI/ML workloads, data engineering pipelines, and operational tooling on AWS
  • U.S. Navy Operations or Logistics background, or equivalent military experience in mission-critical systems
  • Hands-on experience managing complex multi-node supply chains with zero tolerance for failure
