This role focuses on helping healthcare partners implement cloud computing solutions, including AI and machine learning, on AWS. The Senior Solutions Architect will own the technical relationship with partners, define implementation architectures for clinical and administrative workloads, and act as a subject matter expert on security and compliance in healthcare. The role involves enabling partners, building prototypes, leading technical strategy, and serving as a trusted advisor at the executive level.

What you'd actually do

  1. Enable healthcare-focused SI partners to deliver clinical and administrative workload migrations and modernizations on AWS through architecture reviews, hands-on enablement, and guiding through delivery challenges
  2. Build working prototypes, proofs of concept, and technical demonstrations that validate architectural decisions and accelerate customer adoption within timeboxed engagements
  3. Lead technical strategy and architecture for healthcare partner engagements spanning EHR systems, clinical analytics, interoperability platforms, and AI/ML applications
  4. Own end-to-end solution architecture spanning compute, data, and ML for healthcare workloads
  5. Operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, translating healthcare business objectives into AWS-native architectures

Skills

Required

  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • 7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • Hands-on experience with Epic EHR systems, including architecture, deployment, or operational support of Epic environments (production, alternate production, integrated real-time (IRE), or disaster recovery)
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in healthcare applications and infrastructures
  • Demonstrated hands-on building capability: experience creating prototypes, proofs of concept, or deploying solutions in customer or partner
